The Sunday XI travelled to Standard near Coventry buoyed by their first win last weekend at Weoley Hill. The home side batted first and posted 216-6 off their 40 overs. The wickets were well spread around with two to the leg spin of Sardara Narotra and one each for Joe Bussey, Shaun Jenkins, Matt Edwards and Colby Snipe.

Our reply got off to a flyer as Chief and Matt spanked it to all parts. Chief was first out for 74 before Matt went on to hit his maiden 100 for Earls. He finished on 102. There was a slight wobble as three more wickets fell but Tyla Davison and Colby Snipe saw the team home with 8 balls to go.
