Several regulars were missing from the side that travelled over to Leamington but even with six underage players there were good performances from those that stepped up. Star of the show was Jacob Rock who scored 51 not out and was joined at the end by his younger brother 9 year old Isaac who made a quick-fire 15 off 13 balls. U11 Holly Whitfield also batted well making 12 as we finished our 20 overs on 91-9.
The Rock brothers performed well with the ball also with Jacob's 2 overs going for just 5 and Isaac removing the opener Williams for 3. We kept plugging away and George Keiser was rewarded with a wicket bowling Williams. The best bowling figures belonged to Amaan Badesha though who removed dangerman Freddie Ackerman and then Tom Hollis as he took 2 for 2 before Leamington got over the line.
