The U14s came through their re-arranged Worcestershire Cup quarter-final against Himley last night to book their place in the semis.

Skipper Ed Clews won the toss and elected to bat in a match reduced to 16 overs per side. Mo Talukder and Ashish Chakrapani were the stars of our innings with both making half centuries as we finished on 138-3.

Tight bowling restricted the visitors as wickets were shared around the bowlers with two run outs from Ethan Plain helping to reduce them to just 51-7 in reply and victory for Earls by 87 runs.
