Former Birmingham league ‘bat to ball, ball to bush’ specialist Mick Weir continued his good form from the weekend with a great innings for Warwickshire over-60s today in their game against Yorkshire. Mick opened the batting and scored 107* in their first innings score of 284, an innings which I’m sure he cannot wait to relive in the clubhouse on Saturday.

Earlswood’s CHL 2s presence was strong in the side with skipper Richard Jackson also playing, bowling 4 overs in the narrow defeat.
