With Chris Harrison enjoying 13 successful years as skipper there is huge pressure on Dan’s shoulders to continue the great work that was built into last season. With new signings coming through the door it is likely that the promise will be high for the side as they come into the 2025 season. Dan, who is also Head of Coaching, will look to mix youth with experience to turn the tide for his side this season.

The most important signing tho for the 2s this season may have been securing the services of John Tickle as vice-captain. John joined Earlswood in the 2022 season after a career around the Birmingham and Warwickshire leagues. The composed opening batsman will be hoping to bounce back into form for the 2025 season and aid the 2s in the charge for promotion.

It is a year that could prove to go one of 2 ways with a young skipper in his first season captaining an adult side. However, with the experienced Tickle as his right hand man, we hope the sun is on the horizon for the 2s.
