We are delighted to announce that Lyn Perrin is the second winner of the Amy Weir Award for lifetime achievement in the Earlswood CC Women & Girls Section.

Lyn was instrumental in us setting up our Women & Girls section in 2014 which led to us joining the Women's Midland League in Division 2 in 2017. Lyn was manager of the Women's side from 2017 to 2022 at the end of which we secured promotion to Division 1. Increasing commitments for Warwickshire CC and as Secretary of the League meant Lyn stepping down at Earls but she was and is a very frequent and welcome supporter on Sundays.

Lyn joined theECC Management Committee in 2013 and was Women and Girls secretary until 2020. It is safe to say without Lyn that we would not have got such a strong women's section. Hardworking, great fun and partial to the odd sherbet; Lyn was amazing to work with. Thank you for everything you have done!
