All five sides in action today

After a total wash out last week, the weather is set fair for today.

The WCL 1s entertain Fillongley at Watery Lane. Gary Maynard and Ben Cox return to the side who currently sit 5th in Division 2. Fillongley had a remarkable win last time out against Coventry and North Warwicks winning a game of 636 runs! Skipper Alex Laud will be looking for a repeat of his 92 not out in the last played game at Corley.

The WCL 2s travel to Handsworth full of confidence after a great win last time out against previously unbeaten Attock. Skipper Chris Harrison and Sam Weir brought the team home with three balls to go in front of a raucous and jubilant crowd! The team currently sit 6th in Division 6. Several changes this week as David Evison, Jon Tickle, James Thorne and Jonny Beasley are all available again and run-machine Sohaym Maddekar drops down from the 1s.

The CHL 1s travel to Mickleton today. Last time out they enjoyed a win away at Claverdon which lifted them up into 4th in Division 3. Harry Empson comes in to the side having missed several matches due to school games. He's had a number of big scores this season already though and will be looking to add to those today. There is a trio if Masseys away this week so Tash Smitten comes in to keep after two catches and a decent knock opening the batting in the WCL 3s last time out.

The CHL 2s have a game this week! In a division decimated by teams pulling out it's been a frustrating experience for the team who last played on the 4th June! Skipper Richard Jackson picked two good weeks to be away on holiday but returns this week. Lewis Smith is also back now from Uni and Mo Younas will be keen to add to his 9 wickets in his last two games! Despite missing a few weeks the team still lie 4th in Division 5 in touching distance of Norton Lindsey in 2nd. They entertain Kenilworth Wardens today at Henley.

The WCL 3s remain unbeaten this season although will be tested this week as 2nd plays 3rd in a trip to Alvis. Armaan Badesha is back in the side and will strengthen the bowling and batting. Catcher extraordinaire, Steve Shale also returns and young wicket-keeper Jonny Blake comes in for his first appearance following a finger break.
