Having reviewed the availability of coaches and strict ECB adult to child ratios (as well as female coach ratios), we have had to make some amendments to the plans for All Stars & Dynamos over the next 2 weeks.

Friday 24th June will be ALL STARS Only (6:00pm-7:00pm) – week 7
Friday 1st July will be DYNAMOS Only (5:45pm-7:15pm) – week 7
Friday 8th July will be back to both groups (6:00pm-7:00pm) – week 8

We don't like making changes and the commitment for both programmes is minimum 6 weeks. We have always done 8 and will always do our best to make sure that we complete all 8 weeks for both All Stars & Dynamos.

The timings for All Stars will remain 6pm-7pm on both 24th June & 8th July.

We're aware that the timing for Dynamos is always tight, due to the structure being pairs cricket (normal 16 over games are c. 2hours) and that some are disappointed that they didn't get to bat. Last week, we noted the names of all 5 Dynamos who didn't bat so they will be first in on 1st July. We've also extended the time on 1st July for Dynamos from 5.45pm-7:15pm to ensure that we can complete these games without rushing. We will revert back to 6pm-7pm on Friday 8th July.

Following the Dynamos session on 1st July, we will be running a session for 'hardball beginners' - aged 8 and above for anyone who wants to begin their transition into hardball cricket. This will be a fairly relaxed session, getting them used to handling and hitting a hardball. Hardball equipment will NOT be needed for this session as they won't be facing bowling directly at them!

We are all volunteers, so I hope you understand that we’ve had to make these changes to ensure that both ratios are within guidelines, and that the safety of your child is priority.
